Spur of the moment trip to the zoo

Well when Tim got home from work yesterday we decided to pick Spencer up once he got out of school and head to the zoo for the afternoon. We had a great time! It was not busy, and the animals were all so active. The baby gorilla was cracking us all up pestering all the other female gorillas. Cooper had a great time and wanted nothing to do with his stroller so he walked almost the whole time. When we got home at 6:00 he ate dinner and went strait to bed, poor guy was all worn out. Here are a few pictures from our afternoon, and a video of Cooper at the lions, he was so cute.

Oh wow, I can't believe that the lion was that close! That was cool and Cooper makes a great lion too! Spencer really is tall isn't he!

I miss our zoo around the corner.
In MA it was five minutes from the house, small, private, but you could feed the anuimals and it was just perfect plus cats to pat. LOL.

Here we drove 1.5 hours and I was not too excited, but it was nice. And Soren loved the Jaguar coming up to the window all the time.

You are great always spending lots of time with your boys outdoors, the zoo, hiking.

What a great day! You have such great boys, too. They're going to have so much fun growing up together.

What an awesome video! I can't believe the lion was so close-and she was so curious too! Sounds like you all had a great time at the zoo. :)

LOVE the zoo! Madisynn does too :) The place with all the stairs is actually not the church, but where we had the reception. It was at the Hyatt in the Denver tech center. It was so pretty! We got marriend in Highlands Ranch.
