WARNING.....WARNING

You are about to be indated with photo overload!!!! We had a great trip to South Dakota for spring break. We also want to give a BIG thank you to Josh and Tanya for putting us up or better yet putting up with us. We had a GREAT time and appreciate everything you did for us!!!! Can't wait until our next get together. We love you guys!!!

Our last day was just a lot of Hullabaloo

The kids got out Hullabloo to burn off some energy before we got back in the car to come home.

Then the car ride home went pretty good. Cooper found one of the boys Oreo cookies in his seat, and the boys watched a lot of movies. Once it got dark they decided to watch Goonies and Spencer was enthralled while Cameron was scared of Sloth, this is how I found him watching the movie.

Mount Rushmore

We then made our way to Mount Rushmore, what an amazing feat to carve that out of a mountain. Then the kids wanted to play in a snow filled park in Spearfish, SD, while the guys headed to the local brewery for a couple beers. We then met back up to have a great dinner before heading back home.

The Waterpark

Photobucket So we decided that we would all go into Rapid City and stay at this hotel that had an indoor waterpark in it. So the boys including Tim had so much fun. The pool closed at 9:00pm and Spencer and I got back to our room at 9:00. So he was wiped out. When he fell asleep he was sawing logs and he was the last one to wake up. He must have gone down those slides at least 50 times and they were probably 4 stories tall, so lots of stairs. He would beg me to go with him so he could laugh at me while I screamed the whole way down.

They had this huge bucket that when it got full it would dump the water out all over the play area. Well Tim and Cameron got caught under it one time and Cameron was so mad. So the whole rest of the time whenever we walked by it he watched it like a hawk to make sure it was not going to get him again. So he just played around the outskirts of the play area.

He also stuck to the lazy river with Tim and of course had to have ice cream. He was wore out too!

Then Cooper just loved the lazy river with Daddy too. He also loved eating and pulling Daddy's hair, and snuggling with me.

Yup, another wonderful day!

The Badlands

Well the day started off a little cold, so Tim and Josh took the kids to The Badlands and Tanya and I stayed back with Cooper and just hung out and chatted. Here are some of the pics that Tim took.

The Ranch

Well the first day we took the boys to help out on the ranch. They had a blast. First they had to help Josh with milking the cow. I really thought that they would be a little more apprehensive but oh no they jumped right in there.

Cameron even gave it a shot and then Tim had to try.

Then it was time to gather eggs, and they all had to show the eggs they got.

I totally forgot to take my camera out when we went to check the cattle for new babies. So Tanya will have to email me the pictures so I can show you Cameron sitting on "Olive's" back, and the two new little calfs.

After all that it was time for lunch and Spencer got to have some fresh, raw milk from the cow that he had milked. He loved it!

Photobucket Then it was time for Tim's daily nap, I know that is the only reason he volunters to put Cooper to sleep, cause he gets to sleep with him.

We had a great day!

The Brooks

Photobucket

Our first night was spent at our old stomping grounds in Fort Collins. We stayed at Michelle and Dave's house for the night. It is always so good to spend time with them and their kids. Tim loves talking for hours with Dave about.......well who knows what they really talk about, but seem to love talking about it. While Michelle and I love just getting caught up with what has been going on in our families. Michelle has had some health issues over the past few years but has remained one of the most positive and upbeat persons I have ever met. Oh and Kylie was our flower girl in our wedding, and now she is helping with the boys. Thanks Kylie for playing with the boys all night they had a blast!! We love you guys!!

Getting ready for you know who....

Photobucket

Well tonight we finally got around to dying Easter eggs. The boys had a great time and Cooper just sat and watched, never made a peep. I'm pretty sure he could have cared less about what his brothers were doing.

Photobucket Cameron decided he wanted to dye his first egg and hand green. Then when I told him his hand was going to be green he got a little concerned as you can see on his face.

Photobucket

Spencer is becoming a pro at this by now. He figured out how to make his eggs mulit colored. They all turned out very cute, and are now ready for the Easter Bunny to hide.

Photobucket Happy Easter Everyone!!!

Oh and one more picture of Cooper looking out the window, and I'm sure he was thinking.....What is up with this weather, it is spring and Easter and it is snowing, this is wrong so wrong.

The world is safe again

Well this morning I woke up to my two super hero's saving the world. Well someone forgot to tell them that they were going to have to save their own tooshes, when they woke up their littlest superhero brother at 6:30am. It sometimes just amazes me at how kids have no volume control, or even understand volume control. Oh well, at least they are enjoying their childhood even if it is loudly.

With out further ado here are my superheros Super Spencer and his trusty sidekick Spidey Cameron...... (that is what they were calling each other anyway)
Photobucket and don't we all wish we could save the world in our underwear and bedhead.

Oh that Cameron....

Photobucket

Well Cameron has said a few more things that I wanted to share. He loves to talk and he always has some pretty good and observent statements like the one he said this morning.....

We were on our way back home after dropping Spencer at school and he said...

Cameron- "Mom can we stop at the gas station and get me some chocolate dounuts?"

Me- " Sorry bud I left my money at the house"

Cameron- " What Mom? Did Dad take money out of your purse again, so you don't have enough money to buy dounuts?"

(Tim does take money out of my purse once in a while to get some coffee on his way to work. One time I went to the grocery store to get something and went to pay and didn't have enough money to pay cause he had taken some that morning, so now when I tell Cameron that I don't have the money to get something for him, he thinks it is because Tim took it. hahaha, Tim you have been exposed!)

One more cute thing...

Cameron said to me, "Mom, can we go watch Transformers at the movie ate her again?" Yes that is how he says movie theater.

I love you, you little comedian!

Oh we are so close....

Tim and Spencer were playing with Cooper yesterday and were trying to get him to walk between them. I only had the camera close and no video camera so all I got were still shots, when I went and got the other camera he was done trying, so I will have to wait to get those steps next time....darn it!
