Recycled T Rex

Spencer had a science challenge this month to try to make a Dinosaur out of materials that could be recycled. So we had been saving possible materials all month, and began to work on it today for tomorrow's deadline. We had so much fun together, and he was so creative with his ideas, I just had to try to make it all work. So this is what we came up with.

PhotobucketWith the milk carton head you can make him roar through where you pour the milk out. Then the yarn that holds on his head lets him turn his head from side to side. Great ideas Spencer!

Cooper's first trip to the zoo

Well yesterday we finally made it to the zoo for the first time with Cooper. He had a BLAST! He did so well and never fussed once the whole time and loved all the peacocks. He also was walking around the primate house and fell in love with the newest gorilla baby, and I don't blame him one bit he was SO cute. The boys had a great time feeding the gariffes like usual. Cooper was vey puzzled by them and just giggled when they stuck thier tounges out for the crackers. Spencer was happy to pose by his favorite reptiles as well. He was a bit bummed that the kamodo dragon was not close enough to to take a picture with it. Cameron still loves, loves, loves his Hippos.

Father Son Afternoon

Saturday was a pretty chilly day here but that did not stop Tim and Spencer from going to our AAA Baseball team the SkySox's. Spencer won a pair of tickets to another game while he was there. Even with a biting wind they both had a pretty good time there, plus it fulfilled the last requirement Spencer needed to earn his Tiger badge in Cub Scouts. He will be graduating to a Wolf at his next pack meeting. So he is pretty excited for that.

Cooper's 11 months today!

Guess who is only one month away from turning 1? Yep that is right he is growing up so fast. Here is what Cooper loves to do right now, walk, babble, spit, wave bye-bye, blow kisses, kick a ball, throw a ball, play with his trucks, dance, play in the toilet, make a real mess, refuses to lay still during diaper changes and getting dressed, and give the best slobbery kisses. Here are a few pictures taken yesterday.

Fun with Dad

After the carnival was over we have to walk past the playground to get to our house, Sooooo of course the boys begged to play for just a little bit. I'm never sure who had more fun there the boys or their Dad. They love for him to chase them all over the equipment. So here are a few of those picture.

Another Fun Night With The Family!!!

School Carnival

Well last night we went up to Spencer's school carnival. They had a really good turn out which is really good for the school. I made a cake and some banana-apple bread for the cake walk. I'm very happy to say that we did not end up winning back any cake either. That is the last thing that I need in my house right now with starting this weight loss project, and I do mean project.
Here are a few pictures of the boys last night.

This first one is Spencer standing by his picture of him dressed as Harry Potter for Halloween, it is in the main hall way of his school.
Photobucket The boys were so excited to spend their tickets that we had to almost tie them to the table.
Photobucket Then here are a few pictures of them just going from booth to booth winning as many prizes as they could.
