Prayers Needed

Sorry for no new pics this morning but we had a bit of a tragedy last night. Uncle Harold, Aunt Lois's (Dad's sister) husband suffered an anurisum in his brain. He was at a meeting up in Fort Collins when it happened, and was air lifted to Swedish Medical Center in Denver last night. They have him heavly sediated right now and are discussing possible surgical procedures. As of last night they had given him a 25% chance of survival. But as we all know Grandma had this same thing happen in 1999 and they didn't give her much of a chance either, and look at her now she is a walking, talking, panio playing miracle. So Dad and I are getting ready to head up there to be with Auntie and Mathew. So please say a prayer for them. I will update when I get back later, and try to get something up about the boys as well.
UPDATE
Well Dad and I just got back from the Hospital. Harold underwent surgery this morning, they opted for the coiling procedure and everything went well. (If I remember right Grandma did the clamping procedure. It was a little sureal to be heaing all of that stuff again. It was almost word for word what they were telling us for Grandma.) The bad news is that with testing they have found out that he also suffered a massive heartattack, which is more than likely what caused the rupture. They also learned that his Kidneys are not fully functioning. So they need to do an echo cadiogram tomorrow to see what the damage is to his heart and see where they need to go fom there. They are giving him about a 20% recovery rate from all of this. It is all a bit overwhelming to Auntie, and I think that her and Matthew are still in such a state of shock that the severity of this has just not sunk in yet. As we know this is a very long hard road for them to take, and they really have no idea how hard the ups and downs will be. With Grandma it was always like one step forwad and then two steps back. I just hope and pray that it goes better for them. I will continue to update as I get the info. So keep praying for them.

Busy Boys!

PhotobucketHere are a few pictures of the boys keeping busy. It is now next to impossible to keep Cooper in one spot for very long. He always has some place to go, or so he thinks anyway.

Photobucket

Here he is showing off those pearly whites, in that adorable smile of his. He also is always on a mission to get to those stairs whenever possible.

Photobucket Imagine that he found them........again!

Photobucket

Here is Cammie "cooking" up a storm in my kitchen. He is always up to something, that's for sure!

Photobucket And finally here is Spencer, he just got home from school and has his silly putty and is making copies of the cartoons in the newspaper.

Photobucket

Photobucket This is a picture from a few days ago. We have had a nice break from the really cold for a few days now and it has all melted now. It looks like the snow and cold is returning here tonight. It has also been really windy here to, and for those of you that have lived here snow and wind really does not mix. These are the days that makes me glad I can just stay home with the boys and stay warm, although I worry a lot about Tim and Mom being out on the roads in weather like that. Today seems like it is going to be pretty quite. Our neighbor just came over and took Cameron with her to play for a couple of hours with her daughter. So Cooper might actually get a full nap in without being disturbed. Spencer has Cub Scouts tonight so my house will be quite for a couple hours again tonight.........yep the day is shaping up nicely!

Birthday Lunch with Grandma

Birthday lunch 2Well we had a great time with the family at Grandma Carol's birthday lunch yesterday. Here we are at Golden Coral, stuffing ourselves full. After Lunch Andy and Kenna came over for a little bit before heading back to Boulder. It was so nice to spend the day with our family, and Carol got what she wanted for her birthday, time with all of us.

Birthday lunch 1

Here is one more picture of Cooper pulling himself up to a chair. He is really getting good at that now. Plus he has now stopped "army" crawling and is full blown up on hands and knees crawling, and boy is he ever getting fast. If he hears you coming after him he double times it to get where he was trying to go to. Too cute!

Standing alone Have a great day everyone!

Happy Birthday Grandma Carol!!!

Happy Birthday Grandma!

Happy Birthday Grandma! We LOVE you so much!

We are going to be able to spend the afternoon with Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle David, Uncle Andy, and Makenna. The boys made Grandma cards, and are looking forward to giving them to her. Oh and we would also like to wish another friend of ours, Anelys a very Happy Birthday today as well!

Cookie Time!

Starting my CookieWell Cooper got to try his first bitter biscuit cookie today and he fell in love with it! There was no prying that out of his hands. He ate it all the way down to the point of it breaking apart at witch then Mom had to be the bad guy and take it away.

In the middle of the cookie

He then got promptly taken directly to the bath tub, cause when he was done he looked like this.......

All done! You can't see his hands but they were so messy!

OK so I told you all that Cameron's hair looks like Albert Einstein in the mornings well I now have a picture to show you all. We have progress though now, Cameron asked me the other day if I could cut his hair like Spencers, "short". So we might be getting a haircut here soon.
Cam's Crazy Hair Oh and then here is an extra picture of all the boys on New Years Day. Mom and Dad brought back these hats from Cripple Creek for the boys.

Happy New Year

Happy 8th Month Birthday Cooper!!

Photobucket Well Cooper turned 8 months today. Wow the time is just flying by! He is doing so much stuff. He has started crawling, pulling himself up to stuff, climbing the stairs without help (Tim behind him of course), and he has started eating finger foods. I love to see him learning so much stuff but it also makes me so sad that he is growing up so fast. He LOVES his brothers, they can make him smile just about anytime. He now has 5 teeth, 3 on top and 2 on the bottom. So that makes his smile that much more adorable.

My First Blog......Yeah!

The Whole Family

Well here is my first attempt at doing a family blog. So we will see how this works. Some friends of mine online have talked me into giving this a try. I'm doing this in hopes to keep friends and family up to date with what is going on in our family. The picture from above is from the parade of lights here in Colorado Springs. The Boys had a great time, and all the marching bands kept Cooper attention as well.
