Fun In The Sun

The weather is now really starting to warm up here the past couple of days, so we have been finding more things to do outside. The sandbox is always a favorite of Cameron's but now Cooper is joining him in the fun. He seems to love to shovel and throw sand, but the one thing he loves to do is to eat the sand.....YUCK! No matter what I do to try to stop him he still puts it in his mouth. Silly boy! Oh and we also find it quite fun to run through the sprinkler as well. I wasn't sure that Cooper would like that but he thinks it is also quite fun. I had to take him out finally cause he was shivering, he was not happy about that!

BIG booboo....

Well this morning Cooper took a big spill. He was chasing after his ball that he was kicking, and when he started to run after it he tripped and fell face first onto the hardwood floor in the kitchen. When I got over to him the blood was rolling out of his poor little mouth, and then it started out his nose. My poor baby! Once I got him calmed down and got him to drink some water so I could look in his mouth I saw just a split lip. So now he has a fat lip and a sore nose. I think he will be just fine, but it still breaks your heart when they get hurt.

Getting the boat ready

We spent Sunday out at my parents house having a BBQ cause Aunt Lynne was here from AZ. So while we were there the guys decided to go get the boat out of storage and start getting it ready to go out on the lake. Of course the boys all thought they had to "help" too.

Photobucket That is a nice look on you Uncle Kyle! Hehehe!

Thank you Pauline & girls!

Well better late than never, but we wanted to thank Pauline and her girls for sending Cooper his birthday presents and adding a couple extra things for Spencer and Cameron too. What a great friend you have become! Here are a few pictures of the boys opening their package.

Our annual Trip to Creede, CO

This was Tim's family's 32 year going to Creede Colorado and staying at a small ranch there. It really is a true get away for the whole family, even Tim's brother from Alaska comes down for the long weekend. Here are a few pictures of the ranch and the scenery around it.

It's all about fishing....

I can't tell you how many times we hear "can we go fishing again?" The boys absolutely love to go fishing in Creede. Spencer started when he was about 3 years old, so this year Cameron finally got the hang of it and has joined the ranks of a fisherman. With all the snow we had this year and the run off so great the fishing was not the best but it was still fun to watch the boys fish their little hearts out.
