Bath Tub Fun

Photobucket

There are days that I really think that Cameron would rather live in the bath tub. Well yesterday happened to be one of those days. He started out the day taking a shower with Spencer before school, then when I took a shower he cried that he could not take a shower again after I was done. Then later that afternoon it was time for Cooper to take a bath so I put on a movie for Cameron, but I swear that kid has "bathdar" or something, cause as soon as he heard the water turn on he came flying up the stairs and BEGGED me to let him take a bath with Cooper. Well as you can see I gave in and took the time to get some photos of them. I tell myself that I need to enjoy that he likes to take a bath now cause just around the corner is him refusing to ever take a bath, kind of like the stage Spencer is in right now.

Wrangler Butts......

Photobucket Here this picture is for his Great Aunt Lynne, she could never resist a cowboy in Wranglers, and I know that this little guy is no exception. Cooper and his Aunt Lynne have a very special bond cause she was actually here to watch him be born. What a great memory that is for both her and myself.

But really what could be cuter than a little boy in his Wanglers? I guess it would have to be a little boy in his birthday suit.

Blue and Gold Dinner

PhotobucketLast night was Spencer's Cub Scout Blue and Gold dinner. This is Spencer's Den doing the Closing for the ceremony. We had a pot luck with a Chinese theme. We were all able to learn what animal sign we were born in. I found it to be very telling. Spencer was the year of the Snake, Cameron was the year of the Monkey, Cooper was the year of the Boar and Tim and I were born in the year of the Tiger. Very fitting if you ask me. The night before Spencer stayed the night at his fiend Jack's house. Here is a picture of the two of them and the dinner. They can be real trouble when they are together, but are great friends.

Then this is a picture of another good friend of his, Ethan. They went to school together last year, but this year Ethan has moved and now goes to a different school, but they are in the same Den so they still get to see each other at least once a week.

Photobucket All in all we had a pretty good time last night. Next up the Pinewood Derby in March.

Morning at Nana's

PhotobucketThis was a picture of Cameron and Cooper before we went to Nana's. As you can see we are in dire need of haircuts. So when the boys and I headed out to Nana and Papa's yesterday that was on the top of the to do list while I was at work.

Photobucket

WOW what a cute kid, I must say! That looks so much better. He still has some of that curl left and it can still be "controlled". Oh then here is Cooper loving on his Nana, looking cute as ever with his little trim.

Photobucket Then there were just a couple of extra pictures of Cooper. One more at Nana's and one of my little rocker.

Sad Update

Well last week took a turn for the worse. Last Tuesday Harold had yet another heart attack. So then he started have one stoke after another. When they did the CAT scan on Wednesday morning the found that his brain was turning grey, ie dying. So with a heavy heart Auntie and Matthew decided that it was time to let him go. So on Thursday they stopped all medical intervention and he passed away that afternoon. There will be a memorial service on Wednesday. So please continue to keep our family in your prayers. Thank you all.

First Veggies......Not Mush!

Photobucket So Cooper got to start on his first veggie finger foods today. I was making chicken potpie for dinner tonight and had some left over peas and carrots so I decided to let him try some, and boy did he go to town. He would get so mad when he ran out of veggies. The only trouble he had was he wanted to stuff as much as he could at one time in his little mouth.

Oh then there is an extra picture of Cameron doing what he does best, being a little pill. I really think that he has had enough of getting his picture taken everyday for this blog....oh well to bad, I'm not stopping.

UPDATE

Here is the latest on Harold. As of Saturday he suffered another heart attack. They then went back to the OR to check his brain and found out that the fluid that was draining off his brain has gotten an infection. They were able to get him on some antibiotics and feel like they caught it early and will be able to treat it. But the main thing is getting his brain to heal so that they can determine what they need to do about his heart, ie surgery. As of today there has been nothing new happening and is staying stable right now. Keep praying. Thanks!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PAPA BILL!

PhotobucketWe had a great day today at the Downtown Aquarium in Denver today, celebrating Papa Bill's birthday. The kids had so much fun as this was their first time going there. Cooper was awh struck the whole time. He loved all the fish and even the Tigers. The boys and Kenna had lots of fun petting the stingrays, and decribed it as touching something slimy and rubbery at the same time.
Photobucket Then Spencer tried to climb a coconut tree.

Here are a few more pictures of them having a great time......

What a Ham!

Photobucket Cooper has become such a ham when ever he sees a camera, he loves to smile. Here he is actually laughing at me. He has started Patty Caking this last week also. He even showed his Papa yesterday how he can do it. The next picture is him being Mommy's little helper. Whenever the dishwasher is open he heads strait for it, and loves to open and close the soap compartment. He is just getting to smart.

As for an update on Harold, there was really no change today, they did the echocardiogram but did not have the results back yet. There was one glimmer of hope today, when they brought him a little bit out of sedation to check reflexes, he turned and looked at Auntie and Matthew. So that was good.
